Lincoln Out of Doors is a huge free music festival held in New York at the well renowned Lincoln Center of Performing Arts. Lee's brief was to create the artwork for the festival to be used on the festival brochure, website, posters and all advertising plus two 50 foot banners on the corner of Broadway and Columbus Avenue! Lee says "The diversity of the audience meant that the artwork needed to appeal to a huge ethnic and age range, the artwork needing to instantly appeal and pull in the crowds. After a series of several sketches the bird idea was chosen, representing the uplifting, celebratory tone and the elements of music, spoken word and dance." The event begins on July 22nd and runs until August 9th.
