Well, it’s this time of year again, which allows me to get creative with my fifth Mexican Ball and the POSTER! My favourite bit, quite pleased with this one, although it is a bit busy, I think it kinda works, it’s nice to have a female skull for a change, which allows me to have a lot more fun being decorative! Latest in the Snark series…
“But the Butcher turned nervous, and dressed himself fine,
With yellow kid gloves and a ruff
Said he felt it exactly like going to dine,
Which the Bellman declared was all ‘stuff ‘.”

PANAMA CARDOON ALBUM COVER
March 2014 – Current work includes collaboration with Carnibal records, starting with Panama Cardoon’s album cover, that’s a s much as I can say so far, the album is due for a release on April 22nd, preview below….exciting stuff!!
I loved working on the album cover, I’ve always DJ-ed with a lot of Panama Cardoon’s tunes, always loved them! So it was great to hear he was into my illustrations, it was like a mutual appreciation! Perfect exchange!

HUNTING OF THE SNARK
Fifth in my ‘Snark’ series…..
Fourth in my series of ‘Snark’ doodles
“The Bellman himself they all praised to the skies –
Such a carriage, such ease and such grace!
Such solemnity, too! One could see he was wise,
The moment one looked in his face! ”
Third in my ‘Snark’ doodles
“Without rest or pause — while those frumious jaws
Went savagely snapping around –
He skipped and he hopped, and he floundered and flopped,
Till fainting he fell to the ground.”
Second in my ‘Snark’ doodles…..
“They roused him with muffins — they roused him with ice –
They roused him with mustard and cress — “
THE OFRENDA TREE
This specially designed from pen and paper to full blown interactive piece of work in the foyer of the EXETER PHOENIX. Designed for my MEXICAN NIGHT OF THE DEAD FIESTA/BALL as RAMBUNCTIOUS SOCIAL CLUB. The aim behind the tree is for people/the public to write messages to those they have lost on specially designed flowers, which hang on the tree branches. This was wholly embraced by the public and it was very touching to see the tree laden with messages to those lost, all in all, a success. You can see the stages of making below. The tree needed to be practical and safe to sit in the public space as well as durable. Any interests in set- building commissions please get in touch with me.
CYGNET THEATRE COMPANY – Poster designs
APRIL 2013 – Three poster designs for the CYGNET NEW THEATRE in Exeter. Featured in the Summer Programme.
The history of Theatre poster design can be a bit dull to be fair, so I wanted to give these posters a quirky twist and at the same time keep the essence of each play.
